Manual Handling Training
Manual Handling Training
Manual Handling is the moving of items by either lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing or pulling. Manual handling training teaches the correct ways to perform these techniques.

Manual handling injuries are the main cause of lost working days. Injuries from poor techniques result in sprains strains or even worse. Musculoskeletal disorders are any injury, damage or disorder of joints or other tissue from upper or lower limbs or the back. These injuries occur due to incorrect lifting techniques and are known as work related injuries.
